A Case of Acute Gonococcal Conjunctivitis in an Unusual Age Group

Introduction: This is a case of acute gonococcal conjunctivitis in 2.5 years old female child.
 Case: A child presented with redness, purulent and profuse discharge from left eye associated upper eyelid swelling. The culture conjunctival swab revealed Neisseria gonorrhoeae. was treated intravenous antibiotics fortified medications.
 Conclusion: Unlike young adults newborn (GCC), children can have nonsexual mode transmission could be seen an unusual age group. For the management diseases, proper history including sexual abuse thorough physical examination mandatory, which sometimes difficult developing country. Gonococcal toddler group should kept consideration.
